WHAT IS FIVE:1?
redemption over perfection
10 years ago the Lord spoke very clearly that He wanted to build a community of women who desire nothing other than Jesus, women who live in freedom and stay free! Women who earnestly desire to love one another the way He has loved us. Through much prayer and vision from the Lord, Five:1 was birthed.
Five:1 is the women's ministry of Upward Call Church. We are based in Chino, CA. For the last 10 years we have fought and contended to remain true to the vision the Lord has given us, and by His grace we have continued to see Him build all the He said He would. This is just the beginning!
We whole heartedly believe that we were made to live in community. We love deeply. We do not compare or compete with one another. We don't simply tolerate one another, we celebrate and honor each other. We do not gossip. We use our words to speak life. We hold each other to the standard that the Lord has given us. We desire holiness, not happiness. We believe that redemption is so much better than perfection.

Once a year we host our Five:1 Conference. This is three purposeful days of teachings, worship, encouragement, small groups, and good food. Each year looks different, but one thing never changes - Jesus always meets with us and we are forever changed!
